Weave LOC Floor Coverings

Product Stewardship

Weave LOC Floor Coverings is committed to minimising its impact on the environment. We are constantly looking at practical ways to keep our carpet tiles out of landfill at the end of their useable life.

One such way is a commitment to enter into a take back arrangement on a project by project basis of our carpet tiles. We will liaise with the relevant party in each individual case to have the carpet tiles packaged for collection and brought back to our facility. We guarantee all carpet tiles that are brought back to us will not enter landfill.

We have a number of arrangements set up to either reuse or reprocess the carpet tiles that are returned under our product stewardship arrangement. Where the tiles are in reasonable condition they will be washed and resold as seconds for use in the domestic market e.g sheds and home offices. For tiles deemed unfit for this use they will instead be shredded into small pieces and used as a filler for furniture items such as lounge suites.

We are further investigating potential reuse arrangements. Following our commitment to social responsibility we are looking at developing relationships with charity organisations and schools to identify potential uses for the carpet tiles that make their way back to our facility.
